I was invited to work for PPDD, a NGO in the Philippines that works for development, democracy, justice and equality, among other things. One of its main projects at the moment is at the Thai/Burma border, helping those who flee from Burma.

I have to get there ASAP, but I need to raise money for my plane ticket (the return ticket is not needed) and, if possible, some extra money for my first couple weeks there. Any extra money received will be either returned or donated to a charity of choice.

One way plane ticket from São Paulo (Brazil) to Manila (Philippines) costs about US$2.000, but it may vary from the time of the year and I could try to get a discount.
